The result of radar signal sorting directly affects the performance of electronic reconnaissance equipment. Sorting method based on intra-pulse features has become a research focus in recent years. However, as the number of extracted features increases, the dimension of the feature vector becomes higher and higher, which makes the complexity of the sorting algorithm increase geometrically. In this way, feature selection becomes more and more necessary. Combining the latest research on fuzzy rough sets, this paper proposes two feature selection methods, namely two-steps attribute reduction based on fuzzy dependency (TARFD) algorithm and fuzzy rough artificial bee colony (FRABC) algorithm. The TARFD method uses the candidate attribute set as starting point, according to the definition of the redundant attribute set. Then the less important attributes are successively eliminated. The FRABC method starts from the dependence degree of fuzzy rough set, and constructs a fitness function that reflects the importance of the attribute subset and the reduction rate. Based on this function, the artificial bee colony algorithm is used to reduce the attributes of the dataset. Using the TARFD and FRABC algorithms, the extracted feature sets, including entropy feature set, Zernike moment feature set, pseudo Zernike feature set, gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM) feature set, and Hu-invariant moment feature set are processed, then an optimal feature subset was obtained and a sorting test was performed. The results show the effectiveness of the extracted intra-pulse features and the efficiency of the feature selection algorithm.

In this paper, a wide-angle frequency-scanning array antenna is presented for three-dimensional (3D) radar. Initially, a modified composite right/left-handed (CRLH) unit cell based on a dual-layer finger-connected interdigital capacitor (FCIDC) is analyzed. Compared with its conventional counterpart, the proposed unit cell eliminates the undesired high-order resonances and has a lower right/left-handed passband. Then, a broadband frequency-scanning feeding network, which has a large scanning angle, is designed using the proposed CRLH unit cell. The responses of the four output ports indicate that the network can offer desired amplitude and phase difference to scan towards both negative and positive elevation angles. To validate its performance, a tightly coupled planar quasi-Yagi antenna array is fed to synthesize an array antenna. The measured results show that the designed array antenna has an impedance bandwidth (|S11|<-10 dB) of 118.7% (2.55-10 GHz) and gains larger than 5dBi in the bulk of the band. Besides, the radiated beam can scan from -47° to 46° continuously when the frequency ranges from 3GHz to 9GHz.

The presence of the large channel in fractured-vuggy reservoirs diminishes the sweep efficiency of any water, gas or polymer flooding. This paper presents a novel type of rubber particle for water shutoff agent and the flow direction of water is adjusted by plugging the large channel. Simultaneously, through the microscopic displacement experiment of the organic glass etching model, the water flow behavior and injection parameters optimization are studied. The results show that the resistance of solid media to fluid flow is almost zero when the oil-water two-phase flow occurs, and the gravity action is prominent. Therefore, there are still a lot of residual oil of karst cave, flow around oil and attic oil with poor connectivity after the fractured-vuggy reservoir is displaced by injected water. In addition, the rubber particles can form a temporary plugging zone by migration – accumulation – bridging under formation conditions, resulting in the flow direction of subsequent injection water changes from the large channel to the small channel, thereby reducing water content and increasing oil production. By optimizing the injection parameters of rubber particles, the optimal injection volume, particle size and injection speed are obtained, which are 0.02PV, 0–1 mm, 2–4 mm and 25 mL/min, respectively.

A low-profile Archimedean spiral antenna (ASA) with its input impedance near to 50 Ω is proposed. With high ratio of metal width to arm space (RMWAS) at the start section of antenna arm, input impedance of the antenna is lowered down nearly to 50 Ω but becomes rippled. By adding self-complementary tapered Archimedean spiral lines to the ends, the input impedance becomes smoother and characteristics are improved, especially at the low-frequency band. According to the results, the impedance band and axial ratio band are from 1.4 to 18 GHz, which are about 33.3% lower than those of a typical ASA with the same size at the lowest operating frequency. In addition, length of the exponentially tapered microstrip balun used to feed the antenna is 10 mm which is about λ0/21 thick at 1.4 GHz. The method put forward is useful for low-profile design of ASA.
