He received his Ph.D. in Agronomy from China Agricultural University in 2017. From 2017 to the present, he has been a specially appointed professor at Henan Agricultural University. He is also an expert for Henan Province's livestock and poultry administrative approval process and an expert in the third Henan Province livestock and poultry genetic resources survey. He serves on the editorial boards of iMETA, AROH, and the Chinese Journal of Livestock and Poultry Seed Industry. His research interests include: animal pan-genome; animal genetics; gene mapping; trait dissection.
