Prof. Dr. Jeong-Dong Lee is a Professor at the Department of Applied Biosciences, Kyungpook National University. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Kyungpook National University in 1998 and 2002, respectively. From 2005 to 2009, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow and Research Scientist at the University of Missouri-Columbia. From 2004 to 2005, he was a Senior Soybean Researcher in Soyventure Company. Currently, he serves as Managing Editor of the journal “Plant Breeding and Biotechnology”. He is also a member of the Korean Society of Breeding. His research interests include the development of soybean varieties for application in various industries, breeding soybeans resistance to abiotic stresses, improving the genetic potential of soybeans by mapping, combining QTLs or genes, genome data analysis, and germplasm evaluation.
