Prof. Dr. Yang-Er Chen is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Life Sciences, Sichuan Agricultural University. He received his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Sichuan University and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Umeå University, Sweden. His research mainly focuses on plants (Indigofera ovata, rice, etc.) stress resistance mechanisms and metabolic regulation, research on environmental heavy metal pollution monitoring and remediation technology, and use of artificial intelligence technologies such as drone remote sensing to carry out smart agriculture and disaster monitoring, etc.
