Aurora Savino received her Masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa in 2014 and then moved to the University of Cambridge to complete MPhil research in epigenetics in the laboratory of Prof. Wolf Reik. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program for Molecular Medicine at the University of Turin in the laboratory of Prof. Valeria Poli. Across her studies, she has worked on different biological questions, from the role of microRNA in neurogenesis decline with aging to breast cancer co-expression networks. The common theme, nevertheless, has been the bioinformatic analysis of high-throughput data, in particular RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq.
