Prof. Dr. Suchada Sukrong earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and her Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Kentucky, U.S.A. She served in the Department of Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, for over 30 years before being appointed as the Executive Director of the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII). She is also a co-founder of Herb Guardian Co., Ltd., a spin-off company incubated by Chulalongkorn University, which focuses on the development of herbal products and technologies. Her research area focused on Plant Molecular Biology, Pharmacognosy, Herbal Medicine Quality Control, Innovative Health Products Development, Antinociceptive and Anti-inflammatory Studies, Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Research, Cancer Research, Bioactive Compounds Isolation, Ethnopharmacology and Nanotechnology. She has been recognized for her contributions, having earned five medals at international innovation competitions.
