Dr. Yingjun Zhang is a professor of phytochemistry at the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She had a study experience at Nagasaki University from 1998 to 2002. She has published 207 papers in various journals and served at the Natural Product Chemistry Institute, in France, and also serves as a researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research, Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles now. Furthermore, she is a member of the State Key Laboratory of Phytochemistry and Plant Resources in West China. Her skills and expertise are mainly related to flavonoids, antioxidant activity, phytochemistry, medicinal plants and herbs. Her major research interests include the natural products with various bioactivities and the chemical constituents, bioactivities and plant resources of tea-used plants and its products to find new resources for food supplements.
