Prof. Zhigang Liu is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science at Beijing Normal University. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the Department of Resources and Environmental Sciences, Jiangxi Normal University in 1997, his Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the State Key Laboratory of Surveying and Mapping Remote Sensing Information Engineering, Wuhan University of Surveying and Mapping in 2000, and his PhD degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from the School of Remote Sensing Information Engineering, Wuhan University in 2004. He is mainly engaged in research on vegetation chlorophyll fluorescence remote sensing and vegetation hyperspectral remote sensing.
