Postdoctoral researcher with a Ph.D. in Geography, specializing in geospatial data science and environment–human interactions. My research investigates the spatiotemporal interplay between land use change and its social environmental impacts, with particular interests in land-use dynamics, coastal hazards, and ecosystem carbon sink. I integrate diverse geographic and statistical datasets to characterize patterns and processes over time, developing modeling frameworks that support robust interpretation and inform decision-making. My recent work includes modeling land-use change and associated eco-environmental impacts; mapping and comparing terrestrial ecosystem carbon storage; examining climate-related change and displacement pressures in coastal communities; and evaluating the condition and long-term sustainability of coastal ecosystems. I also assess vegetation and environmental indicators using widely available satellite observations and cloud-based geospatial platforms, and I investigate how socioeconomic trends and policy decisions shape land-use change.
