R. Dorado-Vicente obtained his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Castilla-la Mancha in 2003 and his Ph.D. at the same university in 2007. He is currently an associate professor of Manufacturing Processes at the University of Jaén (Spain). Since 2006, he has been involved in 7 national and regional research projects and has produced five patents and 44 publications in different journals. Although his expertise is in applying CAGD techniques for improving manufacturing processes, he is interested in other engineering and manufacturing problems, from thermal and renewable energy issues to additive manufacturing and new rapid prototyping techniques based on incremental forming.
