Dr. Ping Liu is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Hunan University. He completed his PhD studies in Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University, and has been awarded First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in the Machinery Industry, and First Prize of Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He serves as an IEEE Senior Member, a China Electrotechnical Society Senior Member, and an IEEE PES China Electric Vehicle Technical Committee Member. His research topics mainly include: electric drives and power electronic converters, active thermal control and fault diagnosis.
