The author was born in 1980 in Tokat/Erbaa. He completed his primary, secondary, and high-school education in Tokat. He completed his undergraduate education at the Atılım University's Computer Engineering Department in Ankara in 2004 and received his master's degree from Gazi University's Computer Engineering Department between 2004 and 2007 and worked as a research assistant in the same department. He completed his doctorate in Gazi University's Informatics Institute Electronic-Computer Education Department between 2008 and 2012. After his graduation, he was appointed to the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Technology of the same university in 2013, as an assistant professor, and is currently working in the same department with the title of associate professor. His research interests include mobile security, the Internet of Things, and social network analysis. He has been working as the vice president of the department since 2018. Between 2015 and 2020, he served as the vice president of the Department of Information Security Engineering at Gazi University. He has been working as an Erasmus department coordinator since 2018. The author has authored 27 national and international articles, 35 papers, and 4 book chapters published so far.
