Guojun Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in air mining engineering from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 2019. He worked as an engineer and senior engineer in the National Key Laboratory of Water Resource Protection and Utilization in Coal Mining in August 2019. In December 2022, he transferred to the Institute of Mine Safety of the China Academy of Safety Production Science as a postdoctoral fellow and senior engineer. His research topics mainly include mining engineering, mine pressure and rock control, mine rock mechanics, mining subsidence, ecological restoration, coal and rock damage, 3D mining stress, stress restoration in hollow areas, and mining parameter optimization.
