Prof. Dr. Qibai Huang is a professor at Huazhong University of Science And Technology. In addition, he serves as the Director of the Department of Mechanical Design and Automotive Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Executive Vice President of Hubei Special Vehicle Research Institute, Member of the Academic and Degree Evaluation Committee of the School of Mechanical Engineering, etc. He has led and participated in many scientific research projects, such as research on active sound absorption mechanism and acoustic characteristics of electrorheological fluid based on biot theory, analysis techniques based on the characteristics of distributed flow field excitation sources, research on active sound absorption theory and control method of magnetorheological fluid and so on. His research direction is mechanical and electrical system dynamics and dynamic design, vibration and noise control, design and control of new special purpose vehicles, and analysis and control of automotive NVH.
