Prof. Dr. Mauro Dacasto currently serves as a Full Professor in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Padua. He received his PhD in Epizoology, Epidemiology and Chemotherapy of Parasitic Diseases in 1993, and the ECVPT Diploma in 2002. His research interests mainly include mammalian and avian species toxicogenomics; expression, regulation and function of drug metabolizing enzymes and transporters; nutrigenomics; natural toxins mechanistic toxicology; target cancer chemotherapy.
