Information

Dr. Obrenovich, an adjunct and Professor of chemistry and visiting scholar at 4 Ohio institutions of higher learning and a clinical research scientist at the Cleveland VA medical Center. My current focus is in vitro diagnostics, but also to raise awareness and advance the field of Biogerontology/aging and to foster novel clinical investigation through basic scientific discovery and personalized medicine. I am an expert in over 220 biochemical research assays and techniques. My interest centers on using diverse methodologies for early detection of age-related diseases such ascancer, PD and AD at earlier stages than can be achieved by current technology. I also lead ass spectrometry and metabolomics projects centered on the microbiota gut brain axis in neurological and GI diseases and in vitro diagnostics, small molecule metabolomics, synbiotics and clinical chemistry.
