Prof. Tao Li is a professor at Yangzhou University, a doctor of agriculture, and a master's student and doctoral student supervisor. He graduated from Gansu Agricultural University in 1995 and received a master's degree in 1998. He obtained his Ph.D. in crop genetics and breeding from Yangzhou University in 2005. He worked at the Institute of Crop Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, from 2002 to 2004, and at Kansas State University, USA, from 2006 to 2009. He has been working at Yangzhou University since 1998. In addition, he also serves as the undergraduate teaching supervisor at Yangzhou University, director of the National Functional Agriculture Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, an editorial board member of Biotechnology Progress, and academic editor of Frontiers in Plant Science. His research interests include wheat genetics and germplasm innovation.
