Mauro Di Monaco was born in Cassino, Italy, on October 11, 1981. He received the B.Sc. in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Cassino, Italy, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Since 2010, he has been a Researcher with the Laboratory of Industrial Automation, University of Cassino and South Lazio, Italy. His research activities mainly include the study and the implementation of new optimization algorithms and modulation techniques for multilevel and multisource power converters in the fields of renewable energy and e-mobility, new powertrain architectures, and control techniques for electric vehicles.
