Dr. (Ph.D. Scholar) Dheeraj Sagar is a Sr. Consultant at the National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna with a CPI of 8.4. He holds an M.Tech. in Fluids Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 15 years of academic and professional experience, having served as an Assistant Professor at Invertis University, Bareilly, where he also held key administrative roles including Head of Department and Deputy Chief Proctor. His research interests include composite materials, mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and experimental mechanics. Dr. Sagar has authored two international books and 24 research publications in SCI/ESCI/Scopus-indexed journals and conferences. He is also the inventor of a patented experimental setup titled “Experimental Setup for Rotary Underwater Laser Texturing on Piston Ring.” His professional strengths include curriculum development, instructional media design, and national-level training and outreach programs.
