Francesco Mancini, MD, is a Specialist in Child Neuropsychiatry, psychotherapist, and director of the Quadrennial Postgraduate Specialization Schools in Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy: APC, “Association School of Cognitive Psychotherapy” (SPC), “Italian Association of Cognitive Psychotherapy” (AIPC), “Italian School of Clinical Cognitivism” (SICC), “Gabriele Buccola Istitute” (IGB) School of Cognitive Psychotherapy with branches in Rome, Verona, Grosseto, Ancona, Naples, Lecce, Reggio Calabria, Bari and Palermo. He is a full professor of clinical psychology at Guglielmo Marconi University, Rome, and the past president of the Italian Society of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy (SITCC). He is an accredited trainer of the “Italian Society of Behaviour and Cognitive Therapy” (SITCC) and a full Member of “European Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapies” (EABCT). He is founder of the “Italian Association on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder” (AIDOC). He carries out clinical and research activities with the clinical center of the SPC schools of Rome. His main clinical and research interest is Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. He is the author of numerous research studies, publications, books, and books chapters.
