Professor Zhengxiu Luo is a pediatric pulmonologist at the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing, China. She obtained her degree majoring in Pediatrics from Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing, China in 1996. She currently serves as the professor of Pediatrics, Chongqing Medical University and the director of Respiratory Medicine Department, Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.
As regards the scientific activity, she has published more than 90 research papers in peer-reviewed journals as the first author or corresponding author. She has been sponsoring three General Projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and eight provincial and ministerial projects.
The main areas of research include respiratory infection and immunity, and childhood asthma prevention and intervention.
