Prof. Dr. David Bruce Conn is a biologist who conducts multidisciplinary research across the interface of biomedical and environmental sciences in countries throughout the world. He has worked at many universities and institutions around the world and is Henry Gund Professor of Biology in the Berry College One Health Center and Associate of Invertebrate Zoology in the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. Prof. Conn has been a Fulbright Senior Scholar and a Jefferson Science Fellow and Senior Scientific Advisor to the United States Department of State. He has worked with collaborators to build many international scientific teams, and has been president of the American Society of Parasitologists and the American Microscopical Society. Prof Conn’s research areas include infectious diseases, invasive species, and vector biology, among others. He has consulted for the World Health Organization, the European Science Foundation, and many others, and has served on many editorial boards.
