Marek Szydłowski is Professor of Physics at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He received also the PhD degree in philosophy. He is maily interested in theoretical physics, cosmology and astrophysics. He also explore problems in philosophy of physics and methodology of cosmology. His other fields of research include dynamical complexity in economics and scientometrics. He published almost 200 articles. He is a member of Mark Kac Complex Systems Research Centre at the Jagielonian University. He is also a Fellow of the Commission of Complex Systems at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (PAU).
