senior researcher at the National Institute for Lasers, Plasma, and Radiation
Physics in Romania. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering and Master of
Engineering degrees from the University “Politehnica” of Bucharest and her PhD
from the University of Bucharest. Dr. Negut’s research focus is on surface
modification of medical devices and the development of antimicrobial coatings.
