Dr. Sagrario Martínez Ramírez has been working for more than 30 years on the synthesis, characterization, and durability of artificial building materials. Her research is currently focused on the application of non-destructive spectroscopic techniques in the characterization of heritage materials, as well as in the study of their deterioration processes. She has more than 110 publications in high impact journals, and more than 150 presentations at conferences. She has supervised five doctoral theses and has tutored numerous students.
