Hyongsuk Kim received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO, USA, in 1992. From 2000 to 2002 and from 2009 to 2010, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Nonlinear Electronics Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA. Since 1993, he has been a Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Jeonbuk National University, Jeonju, South Korea. His current research interests include memristors and their application to the implementation of neural networks.
