Alvaro-Francisco Morote is a lecturer at the Department of Experimental and Social Sciences Education, Faculty of Teaching Training of the University of Valencia, Spain. His research work in relation to the didactics of geography and social sciences focuses on the teaching and learning of climatology, climate change, natural risks (floods, droughts, etc.), natural resources (water), landscape, and field trips. This line of work is carried out in the school stages (primary, secondary and baccalaureate education), as well as in university stages (undergraduate and postgraduate), and from three points of analysis: 1) social representations of school students, teachers in training and in service; 2) textbook analysis; and 3) didactic proposals.
