Giuseppe Ricci is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Trieste, a Director of the Postgraduate School of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Vice-Dean of the Obstetrics degree course at the University of Trieste and University of Udine, and a Director of the Master of Laparoscopy Surgery in Gynecology. He is the Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, Director of the Assisted Reproduction Unit, and the Head of the Maternal-Neonatal Department at the IRCCS Burlo Garofolo, Trieste. His main fields of interest are reproductive medicine, endometriosis, infectious diseases in obstetrics and gynecology, and gynecologic oncology. He is a member of the Editorial Board of several international peer-reviewed journals. He has been an invited speaker at over 200 national and international courses and congresses. He is the Scientific Director of the Endometriosis Registry of Friuli Venezia Giulia. He coordinates the Gynecologic Oncology Group IRCCS Burlo Garofolo-ASUGI Trieste- Monfalcone.
