Despite the focus on knowledge risks in the literature, a limited number of studies have empirically examined technological knowledge risks in terms of digitalization, old technologies, and cybercrime as moderating variables in the relationship between work-life balance and job performance. To address this gap, this paper investigated the moderation effects of technological knowledge risks on the relationship between work-life balance and job performance during the pandemic period in employees of cooperative credit banks. A quantitative approach that involved gathering surveys was adopted. Applying PLS-SEM, the empirical findings revealed that technological knowledge risks have a significant impact on the relationship between work-life balance and job performance. Additionally, this research encourages managers to create and maintain a healthy work environment that promotes valuable employees’ job performance while also evaluating the use of new technological advances and their related risks.

Our paper aims to analyse the practice of Stakeholder Engagement (SE) in the banking sector and to investigate if SE affects European bank profitability. To identify how banks engage stakeholders we developed a model for calculating an original "SE rating", that comes from four research areas: "Disclosure", "Stakeholders engaged", "Instruments of engagement", and "Management of the SE process". We then provided empirical evidence about the relationship between bank performance and SE rating through a panel analysis. Our evidence shows that commitment to SE should be increased significantly by focusing on organisation and management issues, and - to a lesser extent - on disclosure towards the market. Finally, our econometric study shows that relationship between SE rating and bank performance is not statistically significant, most likely due to the recent approach of banks to SE practice.

The trend towards foreign investments in Serbia has been in rapid progress in recent years. The biggest and most valuable numbers of investments are coming from Italy. The authors’ expectation is that the trend of Italian investments in future will continue; therefore it is of high importance for the representatives of both countries’ business sectors to under-stand and accept differences and similarities to the other country’s business culture. Research of cultural differences between two nations , which are considered like a frame of business culture, helps avoiding possible misunderstandings and improving business cooperation be-tween two countries. Having in mind students of economics and management, on one hand like future leaders of Italian and Serbian business and on other like representatives of the cur-rent education value system in the field of economics and management, this study consists of an application of the 7-D Hofstede Model. The application of the model takes place through the administration of two surveys done by students of Serbian Megatrend University, in Bel-grade, and Italian Università degli Studi Gabriele d’Annunzio, in Pescara

The present study investigated whether responents’ socio-demographic characteristics influenced their personal views on the adoption and implementation of enterprise risk management. An online questionnaire was administered to employees of Italian artisan firms to collect data on the adoption and implementation of enterprise risk management, its determinants, and its relationship with organisational performance. Respondents’ responses were compared to their demographic characteristics to determine whether gender, age, education, position, and role may have influenced their opinions on enterprise risk management. The presence of a well-established risk culture in an organisation and the support of senior management were considered essential in the effective implementation of enterprise risk management in an organization and in positively influencing organisational performance. Select participant’s demographic characteristics had an influence on their views on the implementation of enterprise risk management. The results of this study add to the body of knowledge on enterprise risk management and can support risk managers to effectively and efficiently implement enterprise risk management.
