Paria Ettehadi Osgouei is currently a PhD candidate in Satellite Communication and Remote sensing at Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ). She received her bachelor’s degree in Information technology engineering from Tabriz Azad University where she was ranked as the first student among 2013 graduates. Paria obtained her MSc. degree in Satellite Communication and Remote sensing at İTÜ in 2015.
She had worked at the ITU- Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing Center for three years with a scholarship as a PhD researcher. She has been working as a research fellow within UrbanOccupationsOETR, an ERC-StG project at Koç University for two years now.
Her academic interests focus on utilizing the availability and volume of remotely sensed satellite images and data with particular emphasis on "Long-Term Satellite Image Time-Series Analysis", "Analysis of Land Use/Cover Change", “Historical geospatial data analysis.” Recently she focuses on the atmospheric environmental analysis and investigation of satellite aerosol products and strategies for air pollution control.
