Optimized complementary feeding study (OTIS) is a randomized controlled trial to compare the effects of a New Nordic diet and food among healthy full-term infants in Umeå, Sweden (n=250). Overall aim of the study is to compare the effects of a Nordic diet with reduced protein intake and modified fat intake on body composition, metabolic markers, faecal microbiota composition, food preferences, development and eating behaviour to conventional complementary feeding in infants aged in 6-18 months.
