William M Adams is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he also serves as the Program Director for the Masters of Science in Athletic Training Program. His research interests are focused on investigating various facets of exertional heat stroke, maximizing athletic performance in the heat and examining the role of hydration on human health and performance. He is currently examining the racial and ethnic differences on habitual fluid intake and the impact of habitual fluid intake on human health.
