C. Stephen Evans received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Yale University. He is currently University Professor of Philosophy and Humanities at Baylor University and also a Professorial Fellow at the Logos Institute, the University of St. Andrews. His published works have focused on Kierkegaard, the philosophy of religion, ethics, and the philosophy of psychology, most recently Kierkegaard and Spirituality: Accountability as the Meaning of Human Existence. Prior to coming to Baylor, Evans taught at Wheaton College, St. Olaf College, and at Calvin University. He is a past president of the Society of Christian Philosophers and the Kierkegaard Society of North America
