Kang Dongwei, born in March 1990 in Shandong Province; Ph.D.; Qilu Young Scholar of Shandong University; winner of the Shandong Excellent Youth Fund. In the past five years, Kang Dongwei has focused on medicinal chemistry, mainly concerning viral infectious diseases that seriously endanger human health, through rational drug design concepts based on target structures, the construction of high-quality compound libraries and phenotype screening technology, and structural biology research, focusing on novel discovery and optimization of lead compounds of highly effective anti-drug-resistant antiviral drugs and carrying out preliminary drugability evaluations of leading compounds to provide high-quality drug candidates for the discovery of a new generation of antiviral drugs.
