Mika Goto has been a professor at the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly, Tokyo Institute of Technology) since 2014. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Economics from Nagoya University in 1990, 1992, and 2003, respectively. Between 1992 and 2014, she served as a researcher at the Socio-Economic Research Center of the Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry. Dr. Goto has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications. Her areas of expertise encompass efficiency and productivity analysis, electricity markets, virtual power plants, and energy economics.
