Dr. Sungyong You received his M.Sc. in Pharmacy from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea, in February 2005. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in Systems Biology in 2012 from the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Korea. He moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC) in 2012 as a post-doctoral fellow to investigate data integration and disease classifications. He is currently the Director of the Cancer Bioinformatics Core and the Genitourinary Sciences Bioinformatics unit at CSMC. His research has focused on the selection and evaluation of molecular targets and biomarker candidates in complex human diseases using systems frameworks.
