Maryam Karimi, PhD. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, Politecnico di Milano. Prior to her fellowship, she completed her Ph.D. in Urban Planning, Design, and Policy. Her research is interdisciplinary and mobilizes critical urban studies focusing on urban governance, knowledge production, and socio-technical aspects of technology. In her recent position as the coordination team member and researcher at the easyRights project, she is much engaged in migration studies, organizational learning, and digital transformation across the public sector. Maryam holds an MSc in Design from the University of Massachusetts and an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver.
