Nowadays, IoT is being used in more and more application areas and the importance of IoT data quality is widely recognized by practitioners and researchers. The requirements for data and its quality vary from application to application or organization in different contexts. Many methodologies and frameworks include techniques for defining, assessing, and improving data quality. However, due to the diversity of requirements, it can be a challenge to choose the appropriate technique for the IoT system. This paper surveys data quality frameworks and methodologies for IoT data, and related international standards, comparing them in terms of data types, data quality definitions, dimensions and metrics, and the choice of assessment dimensions. The survey is intended to help narrow down the possible choices of IoT data quality management technique.

최근 유튜브와 모바일 플랫폼 환경에서 짧고 강렬한 콘텐츠를 뜻하는 숏폼(short-form) 콘텐츠가 급증하고 있다. 콘텐츠의 홍수 속에서 핵심 내용 파악이 용이하여 시간 투자 대비 높은 만족감을 얻을 수 있기 때문이다. 숏폼 콘텐츠에서 핵심 내용의 간결하고 효율적인 표현을 위해 이미지(사물, 사람)와 한글 자모의 조합으로 구성된 특수 자막을 사용한다. 그러므로 일반적인 형태의 자막이 아닌 특수한 형태로 표현되는 특수 자막을 추출하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 숏폼 콘텐츠들에 존재하는 자막 자동식별 시스템을 제안한다. 숏폼 콘텐츠에 포함된 자막 데이터를 기계 학습하여 특수 및 일반자막의 식별 및 추출 결과 기존 방법보다 추출 정확도(95%)가 우수함을 보였다. 따라서 다양한 자막 형태가 포함된 숏폼 콘텐츠에 대한 사용자 추천 시스템 및 콘텐츠 큐레이션 서비스에 다양하게 활용할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

쓰레기 문제에 사회적 관심이 고조되면서 이를 해결하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 특히 쓰레기의 현황을 파악하기 위해 드론과 영상 인식 기술이 적용되고 있다. 쓰레기 현황을 정확하게 파악하기 위해서는 정확한 영상 획득이 우선되어야 한다. 기존 연구에서 드론의 고도가 쓰레기 인식률에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구가 진행되었으나, 드론의 속도 또한 매우 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 드론의 속도가 영상 인식률에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 고도, 속도와 영상 인식률과의 관계를 정의한다. 실험 결과는 드론의 속도가 느릴수록 정확한 영상을 획득할 것이라는 가설과는 다른 결과를 보였다. 다양한 드론의 속도와 고도에서 촬영된 영상을 실험해 본 결과, 정확한 영상을 획득하기 위한 드론의 최적 속도는 3m/s이며, 최적 고도는 5m로 산출되었다. 이 논문의 연구 결과는 관련 연구의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is a digital currency issued by a central bank. Motivated by the financial crisis and prospect of a cashless society, countries are researching CBDC. Recently, global consideration has been given to paying basic income to avoid consumer sentiment shrinkage and recession due to epidemics. CBDC is coming into the spotlight as the way to manage the public finance policy of nations comprehensively. CBDC is studied by many countries. The bank of the Bahamas released Sand Dollar. Each country’s central bank should consider the situation in which CBDCs are exchanged. The transaction of the CDDB is open data. Transaction registers CBDC exchange information of the central bank in the blockchain. Open data on currency exchange between countries will provide information on the flow of money between countries. This paper proposes a blockchain system and management method based on the ISO/IEC 11179 metadata registry for exchange between CBDCs that records transactions between registered CBDCs. Each country’s CBDC will have a different implementation and time of publication. We implement the blockchain system and experiment with the operation method, measuring the block generation time of blockchains using the proposed method.

이 논문에서는 드론의 고도와 쓰레기 인식률의 관계성에 대하여 기술한다. 전 세계적으로 쓰레기 문제에 대한 관심이 매우 고조되고 있다. 이러한 쓰레기 문제를 해결하기 위한 가장 기초 단계는 정확한 쓰레기 정보의 수집이다. 이를 위해 드론과 영상 인식 기술을 이용한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 영상 데이터는 드론의 고도에 따라 인식률이 달라진다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 정확한 쓰레기 영상 획득을 위해 고도와 인식률의 관계에 대한 연구를 수행한다. 주요 쓰레기를 선정하고 고도에 따른 쓰레기 인식률에 대한 실험을 수행한다. 이를 통해 정확한 영상 데이터를 수집할 수 있는 최적 고도 정보를 산출한다. 이 논문의 결과는 드론을 이용하여 최상의 영상 데이터를 수집하기 위한 다양한 분야에 적용될 수 있다.

기존의 대학 평판도 평가 연구는 높은 비용과 감성의 편차가 발생하는 문제점을 지닌다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 이전 연구의 감성 사전 확장을 통한 대학 평판도 평가를 제안한다. 이를 위해, 우선 풍부한 데이터를 이용하여 기존의 감성 사전을 확장하고 군집화를 이용해 주제를 추출한다. 이러한 정보를 이용하여 대학의 평판도를 평가하고 추이를 분석한다. 연구 결과를 활용하여 기존의 설문 조사 기반 대학평가의 문제점을 개선할 수 있으며, 데이터의 크기와 대학 평판도의 관계를 파악할 수 있다. 또한, 주제별 대학평판의 개선을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

In general, many IoT devices, including smart phones, use LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, and these communication modules generate a lot of energy consumption during periodic data transmission. This paper proposes a method of the data transmission mode change for improving energy efficiency in various communication environments that mobile devices may encounter. We propose an algorithm for setting the mode considering energy efficiency, data transmission performance and cost when the mobile device transmits data, and transmitting the data in an optimized manner according to the state of the mobile device. The proposed algorithm is implemented through experiments on energy efficiency for each communication module, and the scenario is used to verify how efficiently the proposed algorithm uses energy.

이 논문에서는 자격증 위조 방지와 빠른 진위 확인을 위해 블록체인 기술을 이용한 자격증 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 자격증 위조는 사회적으로 심각한 문제를 초래하기 때문에 자격증 위조 방지에 대한 다양한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 지금까지 수행된 연구는 위조 문제 및 진위 확인에 많은 시간이 소요된다는 문제점을 지닌다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 기존 연구의 한계점을 분석하고 보안성이 강화된 자격증 위조 방지와 빠른 진위 확인이 가능한 블록체인 기반 자격증 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 탈중앙화 형태로 위·변조가 불가능한 블록체인을 이용하여 기존 문제를 해결한다. 실험 및 평가 결과, 위조 방지와 진위 확인 시간 부분에서 기존 시스템보다 나은 성능을 보였다.

본 논문에서는 노인의 안전을 위해 정확도와 편의성이 향상된 낙상 인지 시스템을 제안한다. 점차 노인의 인구 비율이 증가함에 따라 낙상 사고 발생 빈도가 증가하고 있다. 노인에게 예상치 못한 낙상이 발생할 경우, 스스로 조치하기 어려운 상황이 발생한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 낙상 인지에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되었다. 그러나 기존의 낙상 인지 시스템은 낙상 판별의 정확도가 떨어지고 편의성이 떨어지는 등 다양한 문제점을 보였다. 본 논문에서는 기존 연구의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 새로운 낙상 인지 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안한 시스템은 웨어러블 밴드의 3축 가속도 데이터 및 고도 데이터를 이용하였으며, 실험 및 평가 결과에서 제안한 시스템의 낙상 인지 정확도와 편의성이 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

이 논문에서는 이미지 바코드에서 은닉 데이터를 복구하기 위한 디코딩 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 먼저, 두 종류의 디더링 행렬을 훈련 영상 집합에 각각 적용해서 하프톤 영상을 생성한 후, 패치 추출 과정을 통해 라벨 값을 할당한다. 그리고 VGG-16과 같은 심층 합성곱 신경망 아키텍처를 구성한 후, 확률적 내리막 경사법을 적용하여 신경망 파라미터를 학습한다. 은닉 데이터 디코딩 과정은 입력 이미지 바코드로부터 패치를 추출하여 학습된 심층 합성곱 신경망에 입력으로 주면 분류 과정을 거쳐 최종 은닉 데이터를 복구할 수 있다. 실험을 통해, 제안한 심층 합성곱 신경망 기반의 디코딩 기법이 기존의 디코딩 기법보다 더 우수한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 특히, 디지털 이미지 바코드와 스캔된 이미지 바코드에서 약 99%와 약 96%의 정인식률을 달성할 수 있었다.

Essay scoring is a critical task in education. Implementing automated essay scoring (AES) helps reduce manual workload and speed up learning feedback. Recently, neural network models have been applied to the task of AES and demonstrates tremendous potential. However, the existing work only considered the essay itself without considering the rating criteria behind the essay. One of the reasons is that the various kinds of rating criteria are very hard to represent. In this paper, we represent rating criteria by some sample essays that were provided by domain experts and defined a new input pair consisting of an essay and a sample essay. Corresponding to this new input pair, we proposed a symmetrical neural network AES model that can accept the input pair. The model termed Siamese Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory Architecture (SBLSTMA) can capture not only the semantic features in the essay but also the rating criteria information behind the essays. We use the SBLSTMA model for the task of AES and take the Automated Student Assessment Prize (ASAP) dataset as evaluation. Experimental results show that our approach is better than the previous neural network methods.

A sensor registry system (SRS) registers sensor metadata and provides them for a seamless semantic process. Recently, network coverage information-based SRS (NC-SRS) was developed to provide sensor information filtering by combining path prediction and network coverage checks. However, the NC-SRS has problems caused by issues such as termination of OpenSignal service and pre-building road segments. Therefore, this paper proposes a sensor registry system-based predictive information service (SRS-PIS) using a grid. SRS-PIS predicts a path based on the grid, checks the network coverage, and filters the sensor. This paper presents a grid-based real-time path prediction algorithm and an algorithm for grouping network service-disabled areas. To obtain network coverage information, we constructed and implemented a grid-based coverage map through experiment to measure the signal strength. As an evaluation, we compared features among SRS-based systems and SRS-PIS, and compared advantages and disadvantages between segment-based and grid-based methods.

In recent years, software development environments have changed from being driven by professional developers to being driven by technical end users. One of the key issues in end-user-driven software development environments is how to guarantee the quality of the software artifacts. Measuring the quality of developed software requires the correct specification of a quality range the software is expected to meet. However, technical end users are non-professionals in engineering techniques for software requirements, and training a developer to be an expert in requirements engineering in a short period of time is difficult. This paper proposes a new software development life cycle based on reutilizing previously evaluated software requirements assets from completed projects. End-User Requirements Engineering with Collaborative Animation, a tool that was developed to support the proposed software development life cycle, is described and demonstrated by application to three projects. The results from real cases are used as the basis for a discussion on the efficiency enhancement of requirements work, an increased rate of reusing legacy software requirements assets, and an improvement in the technical end user's individual competency level using the End-User Requirements Engineering with Collaborative Animation.
