Prof. Dr. Luis Payá holds an MEng in Industrial Engineering (Spain, 2002) and a PhD in Industrial Technologies (Spain, 2014). He now works as a Professor at Miguel Hernández University in Spain (Department of Systems Engineering and Automation). He teaches subjects in the fields of automatic control, electronics, and robotics. His current research interests include omnidirectional vision and holistic description, deep learning, multimodal IA models, map building, and localization of mobile robots.
