Enrico Spinas is a professor of Prosthesis Dentaria I, II, and III for the CLOPD and for the CLID (Course of Degree for Hygienista Dentaria). He is the National Councillor and founding member of SIDT (Italian Society of Dental Traumatology) and the national manager of the Legal Medicine Study Group on the Prevention of Traumatic Injuries. He studied dentistry and dental prosthetics at the University of Cagliari in 1985 and earned a diploma of specialization in forensic dentistry at the Careggi-Florence Polyclinic in 2000. He was Coordinator of the Study Center of Toothofacial Traumatology at the Department of Odontostomatology of the University of Cagliari from April 2002 to June 2004. He was Head of the Urgent Dental Service at the Sports Facilities during the Turin 2006 Winter Olympic Games. He is the author, in addition to over 130 scientific publications, of the text “Odontoiatria dello Sport”, in which the oral problems of sportsmen are addressed.
