Sung-Wan Kim, PhD, is a psychiatrist and professor with the Department of Psychiatry at the Chonnam National University Medical School, Gwangju, Korea. Dr. Kim’s research and clinical work focus on the early identification and treatment of adults and youths with severe mental illness. Dr. Kim has published more than 400 articles in peer-reviewed psychiatric journals, including 280 in Science Citation Index (SCI) journals. He also serves as an associate editor of Early Intervention in Psychiatry, Clinical Psychopharmacology and Neuroscience, and Frontiers in Psychiatry. He is a vice president of IEPA and a member of the SIRS and CINP.
