I am an early career academic working in interdisciplinary field of Physical Chemistry and Materials Science. I completed my PhD in Biological Sciences (subject Biophysics) at the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2015. Multiple research stays worldwide brought me to the USA, England and finally to Germany. In the last two years, I have held the position of Marie-Curie Research Fellow at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology followed by the Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Max-Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam. Since May 2021, I have held a Junior Professor position at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (professor of Surface Functionalization of Polymer Materials).
