Prof. Lorenzo Morelli is affiliated with the Institute of Microbiology, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy. He is the Guest Editor of the Special Issue “Probiotics and Intestinal Health” in MDPI. His research interests mainly focus on food microbiology; pathogens; probiotics; functional food; gut microbiota; nutrition; food safety; and food processing. His scientific output includes 210 publications in various journals with an h-index of 58 (Scopus, February 2024).
