Dr. Long Lei received his Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2022. He conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Surgery at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on intelligent medical robotics, particularly intelligent ultrasound scanning and ultrasound-guided interventional robotic systems, with interests in medical image analysis, image-enhanced navigation, and surgical state perception and control. He has published over 30 papers, including 11 as first or corresponding author in leading venues such as IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Medical Robotics and Bionics, and MICCAI. He serves as a reviewer for international journals and conferences in medical robotics.
