A. Castillo-Atoche received his Ph.D. (2010) degree in Telecommunications and Digital Signal Processing from CINVESTAV Gdl., Mexico. Currently, he is a professor in the Mechatronic Department and head of the Robotic and Industry 4.0 Laboratory at the Autonomous University of Yucatán, México. His area of research includes intelligent signal processing to remote sensing imagery, FPGA design, artificial intelligence, energy harvester systems, wireless sensor networks (WSN), and internet of things (IoT) applications.
