Prof. Dong Yan Huang is a professor at the Key Laboratory of Engineering Bionics of the Ministry of Education, School of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Jilin University; the deputy director of Jilin Mechanized Protected Tillage Research Center (2010); and is the deputy director of Jilin Modern Agricultural Equipment Industry Public Technology R&D Center (2014). He received his bachelor's degree from Jilin University of Technology in 1999 and completed his Ph.D. at Jilin University in 2012. He also serves as vice chairman of the Professional Committee on Electrification of Agricultural Mechanization of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering (2017), as well as a member of the Committee of the Tillage and Planting Machinery Branch of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery (2016). His research interests include conservation tillage theory and technology, and bionic intelligent operating machinery.
