Prof. Dr. Zhongyuan Lu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Materials and Chemistry, Southwest University of Science and Technology, China. He concurrently serves as the Vice-Principal of the university and director of the State Key Laboratory of Environment-friendly Energy Materials. He obtained a bachelor's degree and a master's degree at Chongqing University. He has been engaged in the research and development of cement-based green building materials, functional building materials and solid-waste green-building-material resources, for a long time. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Cement Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society, the Executive Director of the Solid Waste and Ecological Materials Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society, and the Executive Director of the Housing and Building Materials Branch of the Chinese Silicate Society.
