Prof Kuan-Pin Su and his research team, the Mind-Body Interface Research Center (MBI-Lab), focus on Translational Brain Research, connecting bedside to bench with novel interdisciplinary approaches of AI technology, neuroimaging, genomics, randomized-controlled trials (RCTs), cellular and molecular biology. He integrates clinical significance (e.g. pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, phytochemicals, rTMS, and acupuncture) with investigations of basic sciences. Prof Su’s groundbreaking research has not only revolutionized the treatment guidelines for depression but has also pioneered the exciting field of nutritional psychiatry.Professor Su received his MD from the Kaohsiung Medical College, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and his PhD from the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, UK. He was the president of the Taiwan Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research (TSNPR), and a member of the Board of Directors, the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL).
