Dr. Azizah Ugusman is an Associate Professor from the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia. She has contributed extensively to research in the field of cardiovascular pathophysiology, with a particular focus on vascular dysfunction in cardiometabolic diseases. She has a h-index of 20 and has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications. Her research interests include endothelial dysfunction, oxidative stress, natural product pharmacology, and hypertension. She is an executive committee member of the Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology (MSPP) and an active member of the Federation of the Asian and Oceanian Physiological Societies (FAOPS).
