Robert C. Atkinson received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electronic and electrical engineering; the M.Sc. degree in communications, control, and digital signal processing; and the Ph.D. degree in mobile communications systems from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., in 1993, 1995, and 2003, respectively. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the institution.
His research interests include data engineering and the application of machine learning algorithms to industrial problems including cyber-security.
